Thanks for all the fun pirate postings. I was also bitten by the "broadcasting bug" and built "WQRM" in my bedroom circa 1972, but it never amounted to much. No photos remain, unfortunately.

Regarding this comment from your WLAT/WHAY page: "The call letters were changed to WRCQ ("91 Q") in the 1974 and the station adopted a Music of Your Life Format." Actually, 91-Q was an oldies station. On 12/25/80, the format changed to Schulke II. But it didn't go Music Of Your Life until 1982. I remember it well because 91-Q was one of my favorite stations, and I was greatly disappointed when they dropped the oldies format in 1980.
