Oh, the good ol' days! I worked at WINE 940 AM and 95.! FM in Brookfield-Danbury, WLAD with Paul Baker, WNAB with Phil Cutting, WADS with Brad Harris, Dick Alexander. Did a man/woman talk show with Marian King called "Breakfast For Two" at WADS.

Its wonderful that you have preserved some of these memories of Waterbury radio. I began my radio career at WWCO in the summer of 1959, the Herb Bloomberg era at 'CO. Some of the infio youy have from this era is incomplete and a few of the facts are slightly wrong -- for example the 65 Bank St. studios were on the 5th and 6th floors. If you would like a paragraph or two that you can include, please let me know at the above email address. Bill Flower

Accidentally found this site and am amazed that I would find my name and history at WSHU, Sacred Heart University radio. I do not see any information on WQQW 1590 in Waterbury, originally known as WBRY. Nor is there any info on WCDQ in Hamden. It originally came on the air as WDEE at 1220. Can anyone share information?

I have a PROGRAM SCHEDULE from WNHC the month of October. No year; I assume it is from late 1940's. My late brother, Howard Kester had a program THE BIRTHDAY CLUB from 8 to 8:15 a.m. I would love to give this schedule to the Archive. Anyone remember him? Please contact me. I live in Hamden.
