John write the book. During my career, I worked at WKND/Soul Radio and WPOP/All News. General Assignment news reporting. I have a picture of myself with Michael and "Jackie" Jackson at KND, in the early days. I'd consider contributing the photo to your book.

I did some radio years ago. WXCI at Western CT State University in the early 1980s overlapping with part time work at WDAQ in Danbury. Later in the 1980s I worked part time at WKHT ("K-hit Country") in Manchester and very briefly at WMMW in Meriden during one of its many transitions. One of my favorite stations in the 1970s was WIOF. Of course I also remember WKSS when it was a "beautiful music" station and the great programming on WTIC-AM in those days.

Just ran into this site and wanted to say hello. Did mornings from November 84 to July 85 at WCCC-FM. Also, checking your list -- I did mornings at WEZN - 1990-93(?), Mornings for a few months in 1990 at WAVZ, Afternoon Drive for the Spring book in 2008 at WEBE, Part of the morning show at WKCI in 89-90 - Mornings at WLAD from 2006-2008, Saturday mornings at WWYZ in the Mid 90's, and a few fill-in morning shifts on WICC. Yikes - that's more than I care to remember -- and I probably forgot a few! Glad to sign in!

My great grandfather played live music at WTIC in the early 1930's . . . we're wondering if any programs were recorded in those days? My father has no recordings of his grandfather and we are searching! My great grandfather was George Neff, Neff's Old Saw Mill Gang and they played at WTIC on Saturdays . . . I've seen a reference to them as "Old Time Orchestra" as well. George played and was a caller for CT square dances for over 60 years . . . would love a lead for any possible recordings!

Your site incorrectly says that WAVZ was a daytime only stattion. That was correct when it was at 1220, but it became fulltime when it switched to 1300.
