I am searching for a list of the announcers at WLNC during the 50s and the 60s. If you don't have same then can you point me in the correct direction. Thanks

What a great compilation of trivia about broadcasting in Ct. One correction about the "Brand new Westinghouse 50HG transmitter installed at WTIC in 1947. . . was used as the main transmitter until around 1980 when it was replaced by a Continental rig. . ." The Continental was installed in the mid '60s. I know, because I helped with the installation, and in the mid-'70s helped to maintain it until I left WTIC in 1977.

John, the more I look at this site -hours now it becomes amazing how you have put this together. No doubt putting old friends back together again. Thank you for chronicling Connecticut's Radio History.
