In radio from 1960 to 1975 at 8 stations from Michigan to Louisiana. Began as a DJ and ended as a News Director. At a radio/TV combo, I did afternoon drive & sports at 6 & 11. In 1975, I went to work for the Virginia Department of Social Services as a Communications Specialist with my own 3 camera video studio & audio recording studio. I retired from there in 2006.

My 1st job after graduating from UCONN in 1978 (where I was program director of WHUS) was at WRYM. I was an ad salesman and the mid-day English newscaster (AP rip and read) sandwiched between Lucio Ruzzier's Italian show and the afternoon Spanish broadcasters. More than once I had to call upon my high school Spanish when announcers showed up late (mas salsa!)

John we met when I worked for a while with Ivor Hugh at what I now term "The Classical WJMJ". I surely do miss that man!
