John...the site is great! Can't wait to spend more time looking around. Guess I need to did through boxes and see what old photos/airchecks I can come up with, too!

I found this site after doing a little research. My name is Keith Schultz, the son of "Buzz" Schultz, the founder of WBMI (95.7-FM) in Meriden. If anyone has any additional information to share concerning the station, please contact me. Sadly, we lost my Dad back in 1982. I'm just trying to gather as much information as possible to pass along to my children. My email is keithalan@snet.net

I found your site by chance. I was wondering if anyone might have any airchecks of 2 guys who worked mainly the AM side (WRCQ-AM 910) before one got fired and the other retired from radio entirely and has since passed away. They also worked on the FM side too WRCH-FM. Anybody remember Nelson Baker too?? The first fellow is named Jim Roberts (Jim "18" Wheeler) and he lives in Cromwell. I believe he is still in Radio (as the last I knew he worked for the Country station WWYZ-FM. I have been trying to find him and catch up with him and see how he has been. He also knew the next fellow as well. I haven't been able to speak with in 9 years. The next fellow was named Bob Brady and he worked Mon-Friday afternoon shift 3-8PM (if memory serves) and on Saturday night he ran the board for the Satellite programs, such as Tom Snyder. I was the girlfriend of (now deceased) Mr. Brady and wanted see anyone remembers him or has airchecks of his show during the week. Mr. Brady has been gone for 9 years now and I still miss him and his loving self. Did anyone out there work these two guys?? Can someone fill me in where Jim is now working?? Did he leave radio?? Help anyone?? If you have any information please email me at katgirl101466@yahoo.com

Really decent site that, brought back many child hood memories from the 1960's. I always wondered where these stations went and, now, I know. Too bad that many of the good radio stations are gone like the over nite jock.
